How to make a reading corner

I’ve been wanting to make this kids corner/reading corner into a special place where my kids can find some peace.

Note *** Sometimes what we imagine doesn’t pan out in reality 😄

But either way this is something I wanted to do. So here is what I included and what you can do too in a small corner of your home.

1. Find a book display
Book displays are a great way to show case books. My mother-in-law gave me this one but you can find similar ones on Amazon

2. Display books
My goal is to display themed books on a monthly basis. This includes books for holidays, seasonal nature, and God.

3. Add a little decor
We are decorating our corner with watercolor paintings that we are doing using @lily_and_thistle nature course.

4. Add a chair
A reading corner needs a chair.

This month the books we are displaying are

- How to Make an Apple Pie and See the World
- Welcome to Josefina’s World
- The Oak inside the Acorn
- I have an olive tree
- Katie and the Sunflowers
- Summer Birds
- Zoo in the Sky
- Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn
- Hello, Harvest Moon
- Sincerely Emerson
- A Day’s Work
- The Quiet Way Home
- Seashells Crabs, and Sea Stars
- A Day’s Work
- Your Place in the Universe
- How to be a Nature Detective

What books would you add to the September collection?
