Cauliflower Pizza

I love eating this pizza on Saturdays. Saturdays have become pizza nights in our home and I just love it! These pizzas are so filling and they’re especially great if you haven’t had a lot of veggies in the day or if you don’t like traditional cauliflower pizza. The key ingredients in cauliflower pizza the following:

Cauliflower: Cauliflower is low in calories and full of nutrients like Vitamins C, K, B6, folate, pantothenic acid, potassium, manganese, magnesium, and phosphorus. It’s also rich in fiber and antioxidants.

Chia seeds: Chia seeds are high in antioxidants, high quality protein, omega 3 fatty acids, and fiber.

Eggs: Eggs are full of high quality protein, vitamin B2,  selenium, vitamin D, B6, B12, zinc, iron and copper.

Cauliflower Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 1 head of cauliflower or 1 cup of cauliflower rice

  • 2 TBS Nutritional Yeast

  • 1/2 TSP of Garlic Salt

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 cup of almond flour

  • 1/2 TSP oregano

  • 3 TBS of chia or flax seeds

  • 2 TBS of olive oil

Procedure:

  • Grind cauliflower in food processor

  • Add all ingredients in a bowl and mix by hand

  • Create small or large pizza

  • Preheat oven at 400 degrees

  • Bake for 25 minutes

  • Add toppings and bake for additional 15 minutes
