Notebook Overview

Living notebooks are a combination of the Charlotte Mason method and the Interactive Notebook method I used as a teacher. Living notebooks respect the child as a person. This notebook helps cultivate organization, narration, and artistic skills. The notebook is a place for your child to express themselves, discover hidden talents, utilize and develop different parts of the brain, and practice good habits.

Three helpful tips on how to use this notebook.

Simplify: Notebook includes space for students to write their Spanish copywork.
Organize: The notebook is organized into a left-hand and right-hand page layout. The left-hand page is for gluing the original script and/or drawing an illustration of the copywork. The right-hand page is to copy down the passage.
Beautify: All notebook entries should be a sample of their best work. This includes good handwriting and beautiful art.
