How to raise Godly children

“Raising godly children is not a matter of luck; it’s a matter of work.”

- Voddie Bauchman Jr.

Happy New Year’s! This year will be my second year going through the Bible. I’m really excited because already I’m learning new things that I didn’t see the first time around.

What has been encouraging is to see my daughter who is learning how to read also want to pick up the Bible and read it on her own. We purchased them small Bibles for their rooms and so they can carry time to church on Christmas. It has been really exciting to see Audrey excited to read the whole Bible.

With our help, guidance, and encouragement she will read the whole Bible as a child and make that a habit.

Make Bible reading a habit in your home by reading the Bible in the morning and in the evening. You can do a Bible reading plan in the morning and a devotional or catechism at night. Do what works for you and your family.

Voddie Bachman Jr says (I’m paraphrasing) partnering with God produces godliness in your children. Ask God for patience, endurance, conviction and courage to make it happen.
