Book Review: Triggers
Wow what a book! To be honest, I wasn’t excited to read this book. I mean, look at the cover…I felt like I was looking in the mirror.
I finally decided to read the book and it was comforting. But even better it gives tools grounded in Biblical truth.
The book goes over external triggers (our children) and internal triggers (us). Each chapter starts with a trigger in an empathetic way, it works it’s way through wisdom, and finishes the chapter with a prayer.
The book includes Bible verses and how to apply them to ourselves and children.
This book made a huge impact on me. Mothering is not easy. We need tools but not just any tools. Tools based on Biblical truth.
If you need a book to help you with triggers based on Biblical truth, then read Triggers. The book also has a workbook that I plan to complete next time.
My only complaint is that the audio and physician book don’t match. I read the physical book while I listen to it. I do like the audio version better. I hope the authors update their book to match the audio version. Either way, the book is worth including in your library.
