Current Events Living Notebook
Notebook Overview
Living notebooks combine the Charlotte Mason method and the Interactive Notebook method I used as a teacher. Living notebooks respect the child as a person. They help cultivate organization, narration, and artistic skills. The notebook is a place for your child to express themself, find hidden talents, use and develop different parts of the brain, and practice good habits. Please use #agentlehomeandschool to share your child's notebook.
The Current Events Living Notebook has space for a Table of Contents and space for three years of current events. Every month, the student will make a note of major current events. At the end of the month, the student is supposed to write a narration. Newspaper clippings go on the left-hand side. All notebooks must be neat and in good condition. They should reflect the very best work of your student.
