Ideas for Quiet Time

So today, I finally got a good quiet time system. I’ve been working on getting this done for a while. Below I’ll list the supplies for a better quiet time.

1. Basket: get a sturdy basket and fill it up with goodies that will entertain them.

2. Books: add at least two beautiful picture books for your children to read or look at.

3. Games & toys: add a couple of solitary games and toys to play with.

4. Notebook: add a notebook to practice drawing and writing.

5. Coloring and writing tools: add your child’s favorite writing tools.

6. Lap desk (optional): lap desks are great for your children to have a place to use their things in their room.

Lastly, choose a time of when quiet time happens. Stick to that routine so your child knows what is coming next. Be ready to rotate items from the basket to keep your child engaged.

Let me know if you have any additional questions or ideas.
