Happy Reformation Day
Today we used two wonderful curriculums to talk about the Gospel and Reformation Day.
I had never heard of the Pumpkin Gospel until this year and it is a really beautiful way to talk about the good news!
Simply put it talks about sin, removing sin, and God’s light. For a wonderful and simple curriculum go to @drivenbygrace.
I followed that with a history lesson on Reformation Day. Again, I had never heard of Reformation Day until I entered the homeschool space. Today, 505 years ago, Martin Luther nailed the 95 Theses onto the door of the Wittenberg Castle Church, thus starting the Protestant Revolution and changed the world. The curriculum I used comes from @brighterdaypress.
So for today, my children are playing dress up with princess dresses and my son will be in a pilot outfit. We will pass out tracks attached to fruit bars.
How do you plan to spend the day?
