Favorite Bible Study Resources

Happy Friday everyone! Today in #bibletimelegacy we are sharing our favorite Bible study resources. My hope in sharing these resources with you is to give you tools on where to start if you want to go deeper into Biblical truth.

1. John MacArthur Study Bible (ESV)

This Bible is a great resource if you have questions about certain passages in the Bible. Pastor MacArthur has been preaching for over 50 years and calls himself a Bible Teacher, which I love. He also has a Bible commentary, which has the exact same notes if you already have a Bible you love.

2. ESV Archeology Bible

This Bible is so much fun! CSB also has an archeology Bible that I love. These Bibles show archeological evidence for the places named in the Bible. The difference between the two Bibles is that the ESV version has additional study notes on the bottom of the page.

3. CSB Study Bible

This Bible is another great resource if you want to go more in-depth. The notes are slightly different than the MacArthur Bible, so it’s good to compare to get a fuller picture and better understanding. I also love that it includes some archeology pictures.

4. Creation to Babel by Ken Ham

Quick disclaimer, I haven’t read this one but from just glancing at it and having heard about it, I’m really excited about it. This is a Bible commentary going in depth on Genesis 1-11. I plan to use this book when I go over Genesis again.

Once you learn about the Bible, you just can’t help but want to learn more. It’s so fun and exciting.
