This week, I’m going to share how I organize Bible time with my children.

Everyday, I start off with a prayer. I’m using Max Lucado’s prayer treasury. I just pick one prayer a month, I type it out and include it in their morning menus.

On Mondays, I read the Bible story of the week. I’m using The Gospel Project (@gospelproject_ ) as a guide. They go through the Bible in chronological order.

I use their guide as well as their storybook Bible, which has made my children a lot more engaged.

The Gospel project has a weekly focus question that I have my children memorize as well as a memory verse.

My younger children just listen to the story and my 1st grader writes down the verse and traces a picture from their coloring book in her notebook. She will color it throughout the week.

I finish up Bible time with a hymn that they are learning that month.
